Sarah Jarosz Born and raised in Texas, Sarah Jarosz quickly developed an aptitude for music and began learning the guitar, banjo and mandolin. While she was still at school, in 2009, Jarosz released her debut album Song Up In Her Head and began her career as a bona fide artist, even receiving a Grammy Award nomination in the Best Country Instrumental Performance category for the track Mansinneedof. Later that year, Jarosz decided to continue her education and enrolled in the New England Conservatory Of Music, graduating four years later. In 2010 she recorded her second album Follow Me Down followed by album number three, Build Me Up From Bones which joined the ranks of her debut album also receiving a Grammy nomination, this time in the category for Best Folk Album. The title track was also nominated for Best American Roots Song. In 2016 Jarosz released her fourth album Undercurrent which went straight to number one on the US Grass Charts.
